Center for Employment Training is pleased to have been one of six community-based organizations awarded the 2020 Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) grant through the Department of Labor Women’s Bureau.

CET has successfully attained WANTO program enrollment goals, and as such, the enrollment phase has ended. WANTO services are/may be available for program participants in the form of support services*, workshops, job search/placement assistance, as well as assistance with applying to apprenticeship programs.

WANTO participants who withdrew or were administratively exited from their program may contact their CET Admissions Advisor to be considered for re-entry.

*Support services are available to current WANTO participants through 3/31/2023 or until funds are exhausted, whichever comes first. Please contact your CET Instructor, Job Developer, or front office staff for more information.

WANTO Program Statistics: 78% of the total costs of WANTO is financed with Federal money; The dollar amount of Federal funds for this program is $1,024,998; and 22% and $297,227 are the total costs of the project that will be financed by non-governmental sources.
